Accel presents Atoms 3.0's eight companies

28 March 2024 – For its third Atoms cohort, venture-financing company Accel revealed eight pre-seed companies developing in the AI and Industry 5.0 spaces. Startups like Spintly, Asets, Tune AI, Skoob, Arivihan, and Meritic are among those in the group.

The six-month Accel Atoms pre-seed accelerator program offers up to $500,000 in cash, access to benefits from Accel’s network partners, individualized coaching, and the chance to engage with the portfolio company and previous Atoms cohort founders. Since the program’s inception, the 24 entrepreneurs who were a part of the two prior Atoms cohorts have secured more than $200 million in the capital, according to the company. Atoms changed its emphasis from being sector-agnostic to Industry 5.0 and AI in its third edition.

Partner at Accel Prayank Swaroop leads the AI domain, while Barath Shankar Subramanian leads the Industry 5.0 domain. “By switching to a theme program design for Atoms 3.0, we are able to provide the companies with more in-depth, sector-specific coaching. According to Prayank Swaroop, “Atoms has always limited itself to smaller cohort sizes to stay hyper-focused on the needs of a smaller group of exceptional founders.”

Conclusion

In addition to the chance to engage with a robust peer group of founders from previous Atoms cohorts and Accel’s network of over 200 portfolio founders, industry buyers, and customers, there is individualized mentoring available.
