Anti-Drone Goods Will Be Exported To Africa By Big Bang Boom Solutions

12 March 2024 – Big Bang Boom Solutions Private Ltd (BBBS), a defence firm, plans to sell anti-drone gear to Africa. According to R Shivaraman, director and CTO of BBBS, Kenya, Nigeria, and Seychelles are the three African nations that the firm is seeking to sell to.”Our first export is anticipated within the first quarter (April–June) of the next fiscal year, and we anticipate receiving the letter of intent (LoI) within the next five days.  The Defense Ministry’s Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) program has awarded five technological development contracts to BBBS. Its goal is to get companies involved in the defence industry.

“We are providing goods that would notify the Ministry of Defense to identify any drone that crosses the boundary. Additionally, it will provide information on the drone’s models and danger level. This is our first significant purchase, and the items will be delivered within the next year or two,” Shivaraman said. According to a statement made here, the Vajra Sentinel System from BBBS uses passive RF sensor technology to reduce false alarms. It is intended to identify, track, and annihilate drones at exceptional distances.

Conclusion

Thanks to the system’s fundamental sensor, which is designed using computer vision and artificial intelligence (AI), drones can be precisely identified, classified, and located. The statement further said that its advanced decision-making matrix allows for independent decision-making for countermeasures, including signal jamming and other countermeasures.
