13 April 2024 – The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), situated in Hyderabad, said on Friday that it has enlisted startups to investigate potential applications of artificial intelligence in the medical field. As the startups strive to develop their prototype, launch, and commercialize the products and services in the market, CDFD’s technological incubator will provide them with individualized assistance and direction.
In a statement released here, CDFD Director Professor Ullas Kolthur-Seetharam stated, “We are committed to nurturing the next generation of innovators and startups and providing them with the resources they need to succeed, in line with CDFD’s motto of ‘Innovating to benefit society.'” A separate organization within the Department of Biotechnology is CDFD.
According to the statement, the IDeaNA-CDFD Technology Incubator offers cutting-edge facilities, mentoring programs, access to financing sources, and networking opportunities to create an atmosphere that is favorable for businesses to develop and succeed.
