Fawaz is a BBA graduate who is the founder of Foo Foods. He was selling homemade tea snacks during his college days. When he started receiving orders from people who were away from Kozhikode and people traveling abroad, he faced the limitation of shelf life for traditional foods. He realized that he wouldn’t be able to scale beyond his district. This led him to research about making shelf-stable foods without adding any preservatives or additives.

Rameesh is the co-founder of the company. He is an engineering graduate. Both studied together in higher secondary classes.
With the help of the Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, after conducting trials for 1 year, they launched their first product ready to fry kallumakkaya nirachathu which is a famous traditional tea snack in Kerala.
