From Startup to Recruitment Powerhouse: EarlyJobs Emerges from Victaman to Disrupt India’sRecruitment Landscape

Behind every disruptive startup lies a founding team whose combined expertise creates something greater than the sum of its parts. For EarlyJobs, the rapidly growing recruitment platform transforming how India hires, this principle has been fundamental to its success story.

It started with Victaman—Saurav Kumar’s early venture aimed at youth empowerment through services like software development, digital marketing, and recruitment. As word spread, Victaman began receiving a flood of applications, especially from women who had paused their careers in lieu of maternity or family reasons and were now seeking remote recruitment opportunities. Alongside them were enthusiastic students, eager for hands-on internship experience in HR and recruitment.

These aspiring professionals, though highly capable, had limited platforms to restart or begin their careers in a flexible, supportive environment. Yet, Victaman’s setup wasn’t built to scale—lacking the dedicated tech and structure to manage mass hiring and internship coordination. This recurring demand exposed a deeper challenge in the market.

It became clear there was a need for a new kind of recruitment platform—one that could not only support experienced women returning to work but also guide fresh talent through practical industry exposure. That realization sparked the creation of EarlyJobs—a focused, flexible, and scalable solution designed to empower freelance recruiters (especially women), support student internships, and deliver efficient hiring outcomes for companies across India.

Unlike many startups built by founders with similar backgrounds, EarlyJobs emerged from the convergence of professionals with expertise spanning technology, human resources, operations, and business development. This multidisciplinary approach has enabled the company to address recruitment challenges from multiple angles simultaneously.

“Traditional recruitment platforms often suffer from being either too tech-heavy with limited understanding of human resources, or too HR-focused without sufficient technological innovation,” explains Ravi, Founder & Director of EarlyJobs. “Our team’s diversity means we approach problems with a 360-degree perspective.”

The founding team’s professional backgrounds read like a comprehensive blueprint for disrupting the recruitment industry. With previous experience at established corporations, HR consultancies, and technology startups, they brought complementary skills that addressed every aspect of the hiring ecosystem.

Surbhi Rani, a Magadh University graduate, leads marketing, branding, and PR at EarlyJobs. She plays a key role in shaping the company’s public image and aligning its messaging with a people-first, performance-driven recruitment mission. Her expertise in storytelling and strategic communication helps strengthen EarlyJobs’ visibility, stakeholder trust, and brand impact.

This deep industry insight informed EarlyJobs’ innovative pay-per-hire model, which eliminates upfront costs for clients. Companies pay only when they successfully onboard candidates, ensuring alignment between the platform’s success and client outcomes. Additionally, EarlyJobs offers replacement benefits, providing another candidate without additional cost if the hired candidate leaves within the guarantee period.

On the technology front, the team brought equally valuable expertise. With backgrounds spanning software development, product management, and AI implementation, they built a platform that intelligently handles the most time-consuming aspects of recruitment while preserving the human elements that algorithms cannot replicate.

“We didn’t want to create just another job portal or applicant tracking system,” shares Akanksha Bharti, Co-Founder & Associate Vice President. “Our technology was designed specifically to enhance human capabilities, not replace them. The AI handles repetitive tasks and improves matching accuracy, while our recruiters focus on relationship-building and evaluating cultural fit.”

In just its first year, EarlyJobs has delivered strong results through its integrated, tech-enabled recruitment model. The platform has enabled over 1,000+ successful hires for a rapidly growing portfolio of 50+ enterprise clients, including industry leaders such as Flipkart, Frankfinn Aviation, HDFC, and Star Health. With operations spanning 150+ cities across India, EarlyJobs now oversees hiring for more than 3,000+ active positions, supported by a robust and agile network of 200+ freelance recruiters driving scalable recruitment outcomes nationwide.

The technical vision is executed by Prashobh P, Chief Technology Advisor and current CTO at MeetXO.AI. His expertise ensures that EarlyJobs’ platform remains technically sophisticated while accessible to recruiters from diverse backgrounds.

The founding team’s operational expertise has been equally crucial in scaling the business model. Having built and managed distributed teams in previous roles, they created systems that enable effective remote collaboration—a capability that has been instrumental in developing their predominantly female recruiter network.

“Over 80% of our recruiters are women working remotely from 150+ cities across India,” explains Dipanjana Das, VP Corporate Affairs, who brings over two decades of global business leadership experience. “Creating this distributed workforce required specific operational expertise—knowing how to train, support, and motivate professionals who aren’t physically co-located. Our previous experience with remote teams gave us a significant advantage here.”

The business development acumen within the founding team has facilitated partnerships with major enterprises that typically maintain stringent vendor requirements. By leveraging existing relationships and demonstrating deep industry knowledge, EarlyJobs secured high-profile clients early in its journey—a critical factor in establishing market credibility.

This multidisciplinary founding approach extends beyond functional expertise into sector-specific knowledge. Team members have worked across industries including technology, financial services, e-commerce, and manufacturing—sectors that now represent EarlyJobs’ core client base.

Asish Chakraborty, CEO with 20 years of corporate leadership experience, brings pharmaceutical industry expertise to his role. With an MBA from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, he’s passionate about transforming the employment sector by promoting freelancers and empowering women to work from home.

Rounding out the leadership team is Saurav Kumar, Co-Founder & Strategic Adviser, a dynamic business strategist with multiple successful ventures including Victaman, Goformeet, and MeetXO; and Ratan Saha, Growth Adviser, who brings 15+ years of experience in core sales from his role as Associate Director at Gupshup Technologies.

“Understanding the specific hiring challenges in different industries has been invaluable,” notes Saurav Kumar. “Recruitment isn’t one-size-fits-all. The needs of a technology company differ significantly from those of a financial institution or an e-commerce player. Our collective experience across these sectors helps us customize our approach for each client.”

With seed funding secured, EarlyJobs is set to expand nationwide. By the end of 2025, the platform aims to onboard 10,000 freelance recruiters and launch 750+ franchise-led recruitment hubs across India. This growth strategy is part of EarlyJobs’ goal to create 1 million job opportunities each month by 2027, positioning itself as India’s largest recruitment ecosystem.

The franchise model will empower local entrepreneurs to run recruitment hubs in underserved Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, bringing tech-enabled hiring services to every corner of the country. EarlyJobs is committed to reshaping the future of recruitment with a decentralized, performance-based approach.

Their unified vision—to facilitate 1 million job opportunities monthly by 2027—is backed by a strategic roadmap informed by their complementary expertise. Technology enhancements will improve matching algorithms, operational systems will support the expanding recruiter network, and business development initiatives will target new enterprise clients.

The company’s mission extends beyond just creating a business; it’s about empowering individuals across five distinct groups: experienced recruiters seeking remote work flexibility, aspiring professionals gaining hands-on recruitment experience through internships, employed recruiters looking to earn additional income in their spare time colleges and universities seeking in-campus internship programs, and entrepreneurs wanting to establish recruitment agencies through franchise opportunities.

“What makes our model work is that we understand both the human and technological dimensions of recruitment,” emphasizes Surbhi. “We’ve built systems that maximize efficiency without sacrificing the personal touch that’s essential in connecting people with opportunities.”

As India’s recruitment landscape continues evolving, with companies seeking more efficient hiring solutions and professionals demanding greater flexibility, EarlyJobs’ multidisciplinary founding approach positions it to lead this transformation. By bringing together diverse expertise under a unified vision, they’ve created a platform that addresses long-standing industry challenges while opening new possibilities for both companies and job seekers.

“The future of work isn’t just about technology—it’s about reimagining established processes through multiple lenses simultaneously,” concludes Saurav. “That’s the advantage of building with a diverse founding team. We’re not limited to a single perspective, which means our solutions aren’t constrained by traditional boundaries.”

This foundation of diverse expertise with a unified vision continues to shape EarlyJobs’ growth trajectory as it expands across India, transforming recruitment one placement at a time.
