L&T Technology Services Secures Landmark $100 Million Program from Maharashtra State Cyber Department

 L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS), a prominent global engineering and technology services company, has clinched a groundbreaking program valued at approximately $100 million (Rs 800 crore) from the Maharashtra State Cyber Department, a division of the Government of Maharashtra. This landmark initiative underscores LTTS’ dedication to enhancing cybersecurity and digital forensic capabilities for the development of secure and interconnected smart cities.

Under this unprecedented collaboration, LTTS, in consortium with M/s KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP, will deliver advanced Cyber Security Solutions to bolster public safety against cyber threats. The project aims to establish a cutting-edge cybersecurity system and a state-of-the-art cybercrime prevention center equipped with AI and Digital Forensic tools.

Program Components:

  • Digital Threat Analytics Centre (DTAC) and Centre of Excellence (COE) equipped with advanced digital forensic tools.
  • Central Emergency Response Team (CERT) for incident response and investigation.
  • State-of-the-art Security Operations Centre (SOC) fortified with AI & ML technologies.

Amit Chadha, CEO and Managing Director of L&T Technology Services, emphasized the significance of this milestone deal, highlighting LTTS’ expertise in command center setup and its commitment to cybersecurity advancement.

Yezdi Nagporewalla, CEO of KPMG in India, expressed pride in being part of this groundbreaking initiative and underscored the shared commitment to public safety.
