Malabar Gold's Yearly Sales are RS 51,000 Crore

18 April 2024 – In the fiscal year 2023–2024, Malabar Gold & Diamonds had a worldwide retail revenue of Rs 51,218 crore. The firm, which is located in Kozhikode, said in a statement that it had invested Rs 234 crore in CSR initiatives.

The sixth-largest jewellery firm in the world, with 345 outlets in 13 countries, said that international markets were part of its retail development strategy. The company wants to add 7,000 more workers to its current staff of 21,000 across 26 countries. The firm intends to increase its footprint in Jharkhand, Goa, Assam, Tripura, and J&K in India.

Currently, Malabar Gold & Diamonds runs 345 shops in 13 countries. The firm wants to expand its exposure in international and Indian markets. With a goal of creating 100 new shops within the next year, the company has said that it plans to expand its presence in established areas, including the US, Canada, UK, and Australia, in addition to opening new stores in New Zealand, Egypt, Bangladesh, and other countries around Europe.
