Backed by Trust, Built by Family, Driven by Purpose
What started as a simple idea from a small town has now grown into a mission that’s changing how India looks at hiring. Early Jobs, a platform that’s helping women restart their careers and students step into the professional world, has raised ₹1.2 crore in seed funding at a valuation of ₹16.70 crore. This round was led by Power Tech Enterprises, with participation from N J Jacob, and it sets the stage for EarlyJobs to scale its inclusive, people-first approach to recruitment.
The Roots: From a Multi-Service Firm to a Movement
When an Experiment Turned into a Purpose
The journey began with Victaman, a service-based venture founded by Saurav Kumar, offering everything from software to recruitment. But something unexpected happened — more and more women on career breaks started showing interest in recruitment work, especially if they could do it from home.
At the same time, students across the country began reaching out for internships, eager to learn and get hands-on experience.
That’s when the team saw a bigger picture — there was a huge gap in the hiring world: no flexible model that supported both skilled professionals looking to restart and freshers hungry to learn.
So they built EarlyJobs — a platform that connects companies with a growing network of freelance recruiters, many of them women and students. And that decision changed everything.
Siblings, Not Just Co-Founders
A Startup Run on Trust, Not Titles
Behind EarlyJobs are four siblings from Bihar:
- Ravi Prakash Kumar, now the Director, brings calm decision-making and client-building skills.
- Saurav Kumar, the founder of Victaman, adds the entrepreneurial fire.
- Surbhi Rani, a Magadh University graduate, ensures smooth operations and manages the team.
- Akanksha Bharti, from University of Calcutta, leads recruitment strategy and team growth.
They’ve worked together since childhood — sharing notebooks, dreams, and now responsibilities.
“We grew up in a family where we backed each other no matter what,” says Ravi.
That same spirit powers EarlyJobs even today.
Solving Real Problems for Real People
A New Kind of Recruitment
EarlyJobs didn’t aim to become a unicorn. It just wanted to solve problems that people faced every day —
- A woman who left her job to raise her child but still wanted to earn
- A student from a tier-3 town who needed exposure but couldn’t afford to move cities
- A business looking for reliable hires without going through the usual chaos
EarlyJobs became a bridge for all three.
Today, over 80% of their freelance recruiters are women — working from home, earning on their terms. And hundreds of students have completed internships through the platform.
What They’ve Achieved So Far
- 1,000+ successful placements
- 50+ enterprise clients including Flipkart, HDFC, Justdial, Shaadi.com, JindalX and more
- 3,000 active job openings being managed
- 150+ cities across India covered
- 200+ freelance recruiters onboarded (and growing every week)
And they’ve done all of this with zero drama, zero noise — just focus, honesty, and consistency.
Building for Bharat — Not Just Metros
Growing up in Bihar, the siblings knew one thing well: talent doesn’t live only in metros.
“We’ve seen how good people are often ignored just because they’re from small towns,” says Ravi.
EarlyJobs is built to change that. The platform connects employers with candidates from tier-2 and tier-3 cities, helping companies hire better, and helping people land jobs that would’ve once felt out of reach.
Different Strengths, One Mission
Ravi brings over 10 years of business experience. Saurav has already built ventures like Victaman, English Wizard, and MeetXO. Surbhi ensures the entire team stays together and gets things done. Akanksha focuses on helping women and students succeed in recruitment. Each sibling took on roles naturally no confusion, no ego. They knew their strengths and respected each other’s space.
From Seed Funding to Big Plans
With this fresh ₹1.2 crore in hand, the team has bold plans:
- Grow their recruiter network to 10,000+ people by 2025
- Launch 750+ recruitment hubs across India through a franchise model
- Create 1 million job opportunities every month by 2027
This franchise model will also help local entrepreneurs start their own recruitment businesses under the EarlyJobs name giving them both purpose and profit.
Behind the Scenes: Founder’s Office That Made It Happen
The successful fundraise wouldn’t have been possible without two key people from the Founder’s Office:
- Amritam Basu, who handled legal, compliance, and structured the entire financial side of the pitch
- Shashank Chaurasia, who refined the go-to-market strategy and helped communicate the company’s real potential to investors
Their effort, clarity, and coordination turned EarlyJobs from a passionate story into an investment-worthy brand.
Final Word: Built with Heart, Grown with Belief
“We’re still the same siblings who shared meals and dreams under the same roof in Bihar,” says Ravi.
Only now, the roof is bigger, and the dreams have turned into real impact.
EarlyJobs isn’t just a recruitment company. It’s a quiet movement that’s helping India hire better, work smarter, and build careers that matter — especially for those who’ve been left out of the conversation for too long.
