17 April 2024 – Tomorrow Capital, a venture capital firm, said on Tuesday that it has spearheaded a USD 2.7 million (more than Rs 20 crore) fundraising campaign for VitusCare, a Gurugram-based renal care business.
The company said in a statement that in addition to Tomorrow Capital’s investment, existing investor 1Crowd also participated in the Series A funding round. 3i Partners and a group of angel investors also provided support.
Approximately USD 5 million in funding was raised across all funding rounds. VitusCare would be able to rapidly grow its operations thanks to the new cash infusion, with a particular emphasis on expanding into Bharat. The need for kidney-related services is expected to develop rapidly due to the rising incidence of lifestyle-related illnesses, including diabetes and hypertension.
Conclusion
VitusCare’s creative strategy and remarkable development trajectory are a wonderful fit with our objective to fund initiatives that significantly influence public health. Currently, VitusCare has over 30 centers in North India. It works in conjunction with already-existing institutions to guarantee the smooth delivery of complete dialysis services, including equipment supply, qualified personnel, and patient care.
