Will Bharat NCAP Award Maruti Brezza, Baleno, and G Vitara With A Five Star Safety Rating?

11 April 2024 – India, the third-biggest automobile market in the world, has made notable advancements in traffic safety. In 2014, Global NCAP began assessing automobiles from India. With Bharat NCAP, we now have a dedicated domestic crash testing center.

With the launch of the Bharat NCAP vehicle assessment program in December 2023, India became one of only five nations worldwide to have a local crash testing laboratory. Tata’s premium Harrier and Safari SUVs have received full fat five stars from the nation’s very own crash testing center.

Bharat NCAP crash tests three Maruti automobiles. News of Maruti Suzuki submitting three cars for a Bharat NCAP evaluation surfaced earlier this year. According to a report by Business Today, Maruti Suzuki will get its first-ever five-star crash rating for certain of its cars. In the event that it is true, Maruti Suzuki is expected to get a 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP crash testing.

Conclusion

Carmakers have improved safety throughout the years. Cars from Tata, Mahindra, Volkswagen, and Skoda are excellent examples of vehicles with five-star safety ratings. Although Maruti has yet to receive a five-star safety rating, its vehicles have become safer over time.
