Looking for a women’s community to grow by learning the latest digital tools and technologies? Join Aasira!

They provide workshops and courses on the latest digital tools and technologies open to all at a minimal fee and pace it well from beginner to advanced.

“We have kept a freemium business so far to allow people to judge the quality of our content and on that basis, decide if they wish to pay.”, Says Aasira Founders

How did it all start?

Aasira was founded by two then-high school students, Kashvi Singh, and Samriddhi Bisht on 6 June, 2023. They observed a gender gap in STEM in their school and surroundings and the way it went unnoticed or was not dealt with properly.

Being moved by this, we decided to launch Aasira, fostering a community for women to feel safe and actively take part in STEM fields. It focuses on providing wings of courage to women as they prepare their flight toward change-making.

How Aasira is Helping You?

Aasira is a movement dedicated to cementing a better future for all minority communities in STEM fields. It majorly works towards making technology accessible to marginalized communities and empowering women to actively take part in STEM.

As much as it is a people empowerment movement, it is equally an education movement.

The team ensures that their voices are heard for generations to come. Through their programs and initiatives, they aim to inspire and empower the next generation of tech leaders. They guide them on how to seize educational opportunities and make a big social impact.

Aasira’s Believes

While technology imbues every aspect of our lives, defining today and tomorrow, it continues to restrict itself to the “men’s squad” image. This not only excludes one-half of the population from conceiving the future but also hinders inclusive development.

Moreover, while there are thousands of NGOs all across the country working towards providing quality education to children, a lot of them fail to recognize that since technology is an integral part of our every day, it is imperative to provide those students with proper access to latest technologies and educate them on the latest developments.

We at Aasira, believe in the hidden flair of women and the upcoming generation and assist them to boost their skills and opportunities.

Aasira’s Journey Ahead of Time

In the last four months, we have successfully conducted a mix of online and offline workshops for NGO students and familiarize them with different technologies. We have also launched several free online courses on a variety of different topics under STEM.

Moreover, we have actively worked on launching blogs and encouraging forum discussions on our website to create a safe community for all tech enthusiasts who land on our page.

Our biggest collaboration so far has been with GoodWorks Trust, which has been going on since July 2023.

In the first month, Samriddhi regularly conducted classes for the students 5 days a week and taught them everything from the basics of computers and their history to the latest developments like ChatGPT, Dall-E, and Canva. Over the entire period, she covered essential topics like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, while giving them interesting projects to work on.

From seeing the students look at and touch computers for the first time, to seeing them confidently type, create, and present projects of their own, Aasira’s journey so far has truly been fulfilling.
