STARTUP HIGHLIGHTS –

Airavana was founded in June 2020 by Ashish Verma and Kedar Kekan. Ashish is an ISB alumnus, worked as an AI leader in many companies like Druva and co-founded Identity, India’s first consumer knowledge graph.

 Kedar on the other hand is a graduate of BITS and PICT, has worked with organizations like Qualys, Cisco, etc in various technical and leadership roles. He holds multiple publications and a patent. He is a fellow at the Startup Leadership Program, and mentor at both the Atal Innovation Mission and BITSAA Alumni Mentorship Programs.

The biggest problem faced by enterprises that hold customers’ sensitive data is the lack of visibility and control of their data sprawl. The lack of visibility of personal data for InfoSec and Privacy terms can lead to privacy violations and data exposures. These mishaps are identified only after someone reports it or a data breach is detected, which can negatively impact a customer’s trust in the company and result in multi-million dollar penalties.
