The fund, registered as a category II alternative investment fund (AIF) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) in October 2022, has already secured in-principle commitments exceeding Rs 400 crore.

The Aroa Opportunities Fund, initiated by Gaurav Gulati in 2020, is geared towards supporting early to growth-stage businesses spanning various sectors. The fund plans to allocate investments ranging from Rs 4 crore to Rs 40 crore across 20-25 startups from the fresh fund.
