Claroty, a Cybersecurity Startup, is Getting Ready for Its 2025 US IPO

12 April 2024 – According to a Tuesday story in the financial newspaper Calcalist, the Israeli cybersecurity firm Claroty is getting ready for its US initial public offering (IPO) in 2025, with a value of US$3.5 billion.

A source told Reuters that Claroty, a cybersecurity firm, has yet to start the official IPO process and that a date has yet to be decided. Claroty refused to comment. Team 8 and Amnon Shulman, a fellow venture group participant, co-founded the cybersecurity business Claroty in 2014.

The business specializes in safeguarding vital infrastructure systems, such as oil refineries, steel mills, electricity networks, and more. Yusef Shulman, managing partner of Team8, said to Reuters last month that he expects Claroty to “hopefully” go public soon. He did, however, note that a float may not occur until the next year and that the IPO market “is not great right now.”

Conclusion

We’ll be prepared when the IPO market revives, he said, but it’s difficult to determine when. In March, Claroty completed a US$100 million private investment round, increasing its total capital raised to more than $700 million.
