The innovator of the Eva Scalp Cooling system shares how difficult it was for him to see his aunt struggling with a lack of confidence because of hair loss after her chemotherapy.
Inspired by his aunt’s brave battle with ovarian cancer, Raghuveer introduced the ‘Eva Scalp Cooling System’ on a popular entrepreneurial show. This device, born from four years of dedication, helps cancer patients avoid the emotional challenge of hair loss during chemotherapy. It regulates the hair follicles maintaining a certain temperature to protect it from chemotherapy.
Only 3 companies have been able to build this technology and one of them is Eva Scalp Cooling System. Today they are operational in 12 hospitals in 5 states with around 1000+ successful conducted sessions.
Raghuveer came with a touching deal, sealing the partnership with leaders who recognized the significance of his cause. The show provides a platform to spread awareness about the impact of cancer treatment on hair loss and the solutions Stemtech offers. His ask was for 30 Lakh and 1.2% equity. The deal was closed with three Sharks, Namita Thappar, Ritesh Agarwal and Aman Gupta for 30 Lakh and 1.8% equity.
