For Rs 193 crore, ICICI Prudential MF purchases Star Health's shares

20 March 2024 – In an open market transaction on Tuesday, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund paid Rs 193 crore for shares of Star Health and Allied Insurance Company. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has bulk trade data that shows that ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund bought 35,74,074 shares, or 0.61 percent, of Star Health and Allied Insurance Company. 

The transaction value was Rs 192.99 crore, as the shares were purchased at an average cost of Rs 540 each. The seller(s)’s details could not be determined. 

The NSE saw a 1.42 percent decline in Star Health and Allied Insurance Company shares on Tuesday, ending at Rs 545.05 a share. Abakkus Asset Manager LLP purchased shares of rice milling business LT Foods for Rs 55 crore in an open market transaction in a different bulk sale on the BSE. 


Conclusion

Based on the BSE’s bulk trade data, Abakkus Asset Manager purchased 33.93 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 162.04 per share. On the BSE, shares of LT Foods fell 4.76 percent to close at Rs 162.15 a share.
