25th April 2024 – “For our GCC, we are considering Hyderabad and Pune,” the statement said. According to Venu Nuguri, the managing director and chief executive officer of the company’s India subsidiary, the process might take anywhere from six months to one year.
Without providing any specifics on the financial aspects of the project, he said that the centre may be located in any of the two cities, depending on the demand.
According to Nuguri, the new GCC, which is an offshore facility with low costs, will collaborate with Hitachi Energy India (HITN.NS), opens a new tab, but it will be a part of a distinct non-listed Indian subsidiary of Hitachi Energy in Switzerland.
