Indian Firm "Chargemod," Located in Kerala, Plans to Install 1,200 More EV Chargers

A Kerala-based energy tech startup called “chargeMOD” has revealed its aspirations to grow, stating that it would install 600 additional EV chargers in Kerala in addition to 1,200 more throughout India. 

In a statement released earlier this week, the business said that it intended to install an extra 1,000 slow chargers and 200 fast chargers in different Indian states, as well as an additional 500 slow chargers and 100 fast chargers in Kerala. 

It said that the 1,500 charging stations in Kerala and the 2,000 stations located across India will not be included in this. According to a press statement from the firm, “chargeMOD” is going to launch Ultra Fast Chargers with capacities ranging from 120 kW to 340 kW, substantially improving charging speeds and convenience for EV consumers nationwide. ‘chargeMOD’ was founded by four engineering students. According to M Ramanunni, CEO and co-founder, the company has grown into a major force in the entrepreneurial space.

 In spite of the challenges presented by low-cost foreign chargers, “chargeMOD” is unwavering in its commitment to finding a balance between cost and quality. “‘ChargeMOD’ strives to uphold its status as an innovator in the EV charging industry by prioritizing dependability and effectiveness,” he said in a press statement. Ramanunni said, “By creating an entire ecosystem of EV charging, including hardware and software designed and manufactured in India, we have set new standards in the industry.”
