ISRO Sends an Order to Drone Startup Garuda Aerospace

11 April 2024 – In 2021, ISRO started testing Garuda Aerospace’s drones for the purpose of delivering food and medicine. Subsequently, Garuda Aerospace was involved in the COVID-19 construction site sanitization process by applying disinfectant sprays. According to a press statement from the firm, Garuda Aerospace’s ability to get this order from ISRO for Quadcopter drones is largely due to these successful tests.

Garuda Aerospace is in the process of acquiring advanced quadcopter drones from ISRO, the Indian Space Research Organisation. According to the firm, this partnership is the company’s first step into the space tech market and will pave the way for further advancements in the space industry.

Artificial intelligence and machine learning are incorporated into the quadcopter drones manufactured by Garuda Aerospace. It is anticipated that using these drones would improve efficiency in a number of ISRO tasks.
