20th May 2024 – Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI )and T-Hub, Hyderabad, have forged a partnership to bolster the startup ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir. In a collaborative effort, JKEDI recently organized an interactive program at its Bari Brahmana center, aimed at facilitating connections between startups, investors, and incubators.
This collaboration signifies a significant stride in the region’s journey towards becoming a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. Leveraging T-Hub’s expertise in nurturing startups and fostering strategic partnerships, JKEDI aims to provide unparalleled opportunities for budding entrepreneurs in Jammu and Kashmir.
The program served as a platform for startups to showcase their innovative ideas, network with potential investors, and gain insights from experienced mentors. Through panel discussions, participants engaged with industry experts, investors, and incubator representatives.
Rajinder Kumar Sharma, Director JKEDI, expressed optimism about the partnership’s potential impact on accelerating the startup ecosystem’s growth in Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized JKEDI’s commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship and fostering innovation in the region.
Akshita Kanthala, Head of Govt and CSR at T-Hub Telangana, echoed these sentiments, expressing excitement about collaborating with JKEDI to drive innovation and entrepreneurship in Jammu & Kashmir. Leveraging their network and resources, T-Hub aims to catalyze startup growth and contribute to the region’s economic development.
Coordinated by CIIBM, a program vertical of JKEDI, the initiative aims to facilitate intellectual growth, skill development, and industry exposure for startups. Through this collaboration, JKEDI and T-Hub jointly aspire to empower the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, equipping them with the necessary skills to thrive in the entrepreneurial and technological landscape.
