Krutrim AI has raised $50 Mn in equity at a valuation of $1 Bn led by prominent investors such as Matrix Partners India.
With this funding round, Krutrim has become the third-fastest startup to turn unicorn. It also became India’s first AI unicorn.
Krutrim is the third unicorn founded by Bhavish Aggarwal besides his previous two companies Ola and Ola Electric. Firstcry founder Supam Maheshwari who also has three unicorns in his belt as Firstcry, GlobalBees and XpressBees.

Last month krutrim was touted as “India’s first full-stack AI” solution it is trained on 2 trillion tokens and can understand over 20 Indian languages and generate content in about 10 languages including Marathi, Hindi, Bengali Kannada, Telugu, Odia, Gujarati and Malayalam
