03 April 2024 – Today at the Hyatt Regency in New Delhi, C3iHub, a National Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) for Advanced Cybersecurity at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), announced the opening of startup cohorts III, IV, and V. C3iHub presented 19 startups in the Startup Incubation Programme, which was funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the NM-ICPS Mission.
These startups were focused on particular cybersecurity domains, such as Application Security, Integrated SOC Solutions, Cyber Forensics, Blockchain Technology, UAV Security, IoT Security, and Cyber Insurance.
Fifty startups in five cohorts have benefited from C3iHub’s flagship Startup Incubation Programme support, which is aimed at companies actively working in critical cybersecurity domains like application security, blockchain technology, deception technology, threat intelligence, and cyber insurance. While some of these businesses are now in the process of ramping up their operations, several of them have successfully launched and commercialized goods.
Conclusion
C3iHub gives incubated firms a seed grant of Rs 10 lakhs and, over two years, pays one founder Rs 50,000 each month, for a total of an initial investment of Rs 22 lakhs. The organization wants to see at least 20% of its businesses succeed after two years of incubation.
