Linkup: Revolutionizing Edtech with Affordable Course Resales and Community-Driven Learning

As the global demand for online education continues to soar, a new Edtech startup, Linkup, is stepping in to solve two of the biggest challenges faced by students and course creators today: affordability and community engagement. Founded by Yashvardhan Goel, a seasoned entrepreneur in the Gaming and Esports industry, Linkup aims to transform how educational content is bought, sold, and shared, creating a more inclusive and affordable learning environment.

The Problem: Course Affordability and Lack of Community

With over 400 million high school and college students globally relying on online education, the costs of courses often remain prohibitively high. Students invest significant amounts into learning, yet they are left with no means to recover costs once courses are completed. Additionally, traditional Edtech platforms fail to foster true community engagement, leaving students disconnected from one another.

Meanwhile, course creators are burdened by high platform fees, reducing their earnings and limiting their potential to grow their audience. These challenges inspired Yashvardhan Goel to create a solution that benefits both students and course creators, giving rise to Linkup.

The Solution: Reselling Courses and Empowering Creators

At the core of Linkup’s platform is the ability for students to resell completed courses at market-driven prices. This unique feature allows learners to recoup part of their investment, making education more accessible and affordable. Additionally, course creators on Linkup retain 100% of their revenue from initial sales and earn a share from resales—ensuring long-term profitability while promoting content distribution.

But Linkup isn’t just about affordability. The platform is designed to foster community-driven learning, offering tools like forums and chatrooms where students and educators can interact, share insights, and support each other’s learning journeys. This focus on collaboration and connection is what sets Linkup apart from other online education platforms.

A Founder with a Vision

Yashvardhan Goel brings years of entrepreneurial experience to Linkup. After successfully building Krieger Esports, one of India’s leading Esports organizations from 2019 to 2022, Yashvardhan set his sights on the Edtech industry.

“I started Linkup because I’m passionate about solving the affordability challenges in education,” Yashvardhan explains. “By creating a platform where students can resell courses and connect with their peers and educators, we’re making learning more accessible and collaborative. In the long run, Linkup could also become a hub for education, not just for students, but for corporates looking to move their internal communities and learning programs to the platform.”

With a background in Business Development and Marketing in the Gaming and Web3 sectors, Yashvardhan is no stranger to building and scaling innovative solutions. His experience has equipped him with the tools to lead Linkup toward becoming a key player in the global Edtech landscape.

What’s Next for Linkup?

Currently, Linkup is in its development phase, with a beta launch on the horizon. The platform has already garnered significant interest from students, educators, and investors alike. Linkup’s innovative approach to Edtech not only solves pressing issues around affordability but also builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning through community engagement.

As Linkup moves closer to launch, the team is focused on building partnerships with educational institutions, content creators, and influencers in the Edtech space to ensure a successful rollout. The company plans to start with a select group of users before expanding globally.
