08 April 2024 – NetApp, a leading data infrastructure company, celebrated the graduation of five startups from its NetApp Excellerator program’s 12th cohort during a demo day. These startups showcased innovative solutions in data management, neuroscience, and AI-based consumer insights.
Cohort 12 Startups:
The five graduating startups – NEMA AI, Zeron, Chaos Genius, Kensu, and Blockfenders – presented their cutting-edge solutions to investors, industry leaders, mentors, and NetApp executives. They focused on areas like data orchestration, AI, and data security, aligning with modern business needs.
NetApp’s Managing Director in India, Ravi Chhabria, highlighted the program’s impact in fostering deep tech startups offering data-centric solutions. He also commended the efforts of NetApp ExcellerateHER, which mentors startups with women founders, emphasizing collaboration and perseverance in shaping technology’s future.
Startups like NEMA AI, Chaos Genius, and Zeron, co-founded by women, have made significant contributions to neuroscience, AI-based insights, data optimisation, and cybersecurity. Their innovative solutions are reshaping industries and empowering decision-makers.
NetApp Excellerator has mentored 77 startups over seven years, including 29 global and 18 women-led startups. Alumni startups have raised over $360 million collectively, showcasing the program’s success in driving deep tech advancements.
Proof-of-Concept Success:
Startups from Cohort 12, such as Chaos Genius, Kensu, and Blockfenders, have completed successful PoCs with NetApp. These PoCs have led to operational efficiency benefits, cost savings, and improved data management, demonstrating the efficacy of the program’s support and collaboration.
