22 April 2024 – IT infrastructure business Netcon Technologies, located in Bengaluru, has made a strategic investment in Pune-based software startup Nikitek, which operates in the tourism industry. According to the corporation, the goal of this partnership is to promote digitally enabled and environmentally friendly travel experiences while also bringing about a digital revolution in the passenger travel ecosystem, including baggage handling.
The investment was made via a Netcon Group subsidiary, but the exact amount remained unknown. Nikitek will use the money for value-added service integrations, go-to-market strategies, and technological improvements. The funding should expedite the product’s preparations for market introduction.
