When its three founders began the company during huge crises, this customer management solutions firm intended to equip enterprises with selectively designed solutions that integrated sales tools, marketing automation, HR, and more.

Even though the founders were different in terms of background, they all had the vision to redesign the business for a struggling world. 

The Seeds of an Idea

When the pandemic began in early 2020, organisations were forced to deal with managing remote employees and processes. Within this environment, two Indian executives, Vivek Vyas and Naman Dixit, saw a chance. With a successful 9+ year’s track record of experience in sales and project management positions, Vivek nurtured his idea into reality to help businesses.

A self-proclaimed ethical hacker from Madhya Pradesh, Naman, provided cybersecurity and technological assistance. They previously worked together to design Officiel CRM, “a single solution for managing business processes during the lockdown.”

At first they started up small and even without much capital, but they stuck at it, recognizing a need for a fully integrated CRM system. As the year 2020 progressed, the idea of Officiel CRM emerged, uniting Vivek’s operational experience in this sphere and Naman’s management of the company’s technical aspect. From scratch, both individuals rose to the challenge through determination and love for what they were doing.

Transforming Problem into Solutions

Hence, Officiel CRM was shut down in March 2021 despite the efforts of Vivek and Naman investing a lot of time into the project, mainly due to a lack of funds. The boys decided to rest, reconsider the situation, and wait for the beginning of the new favourable period.

It resurfaced in June of 2022, after which Vivek was to start his own venture as an entrepreneur. They made up their minds to start the Officiel, and thus the platform was officially reestablished on January 1, 2023.

Based in Gurgaon, Officiel has recently welcomed Riddhi Kashyap, one of the most skilled digital marketing and branding specialists in the industry. Riddhi was aware of Hostbooks, Elgrochers, and the future of Officiel since he decided to join the team and contributed significant marketing knowledge. Together, they transformed difficulties into probabilities and succeeded in their endeavours.

Responding to Client Needs: An Adaptive Method

The Officiel CRM team has gathered 300+ product demos from January to March 2023 to validate the market. This led to the discovery of a clear need for a solution beyond the mere CRM management of entire business operations.

As the company decided to focus on the more general subject of business management during April, Officiel CRM became a business operations management platform. They further built in 18 more modules during the first six months of implementation, including HRMS, payroll, attendance, field automation, and marketing tools.

Officiel CRM started in February 2023 with a founding team of five people: ambitious and aspiring to change customer relations for companies in India.

Instead, the co-founders decided to courageously go for a bootstrap strategy of Officiel. They supplemented their primary offering of mass-market content with its monetization into adjacent areas, including the Officiel WhatsApp and Officiel payroll, to have the platform remain crucial for client firms. 

They managed to achieve over ₹ 9 lakhs in sales only towards the end of the third quarter. Starting from the 5 initial members, Officiel expanded to the 28-person team by June of 2023. Through this sheer, unshaken determination to serve the needful, the team climbed to other greater heights.
