About Rozana:

Founded in 2021 by Ankur Dahiya, Adwait Vikram Singh, Mukesh Christopher, and Prithvi Pal Singh, Rozana operates an e-commerce platform and logistics network tailored to meet the unique needs of rural communities in India. Rozana’s Operational Model:

Presently, Rozana serves over 12,000 villages across 13 districts in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The startup has pioneered a hyperlocal e-commerce model, leveraging “peer partners” based in villages to facilitate last-mile deliveries. This innovative approach not only ensures doorstep convenience for rural customers but also helps in maintaining cost-effectiveness. With a network comprising more than 18,000 peer partners, Rozana enables these partners to generate additional income through their association with the platform.

The newly acquired funding is earmarked for strategic initiatives that include expanding Rozana’s warehousing and logistics capabilities, enhancing its technological infrastructure, and scaling up its workforce across critical functions. This injection of capital positions Rozana to navigate the complexities of rural commerce to further strengthen its market presence and impact.

The startup’s unique approach of integrating e-commerce with a localized logistics network has proven effective in serving the distinctive needs of rural communities. As Rozana continues to expand its footprint and invest in technology, the impact on rural livelihoods and economic empowerment is poised to grow.
