04 April 2024 – Vodex, a business focused on generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), said on Wednesday that it had secured $2 million in a seed fundraising round led by Pentathlon Ventures and Unicorn India Ventures. The money will be used to grow the company’s operations internationally and to double it in the next year at least. “This investment demonstrates the enormous potential of generative artificial intelligence to transform sales.” Anshul Shrivastava, CEO of Vodex, said, “Vodex will invest in developing a committed and highly skilled support team to ensure exceptional customer service.”
“We are certain that Vodex will emerge as the preferred choice for companies looking to harness the potential of Gen AI-driven sales, having nearly quadrupled our revenue in the near future,” Shrivastava said. Since 2022, the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) firm has been offering calling solutions driven by GenAI to companies in the US and Canada.
According to a statement from the firm, this cutting-edge technology replaces the need for conventional contact centers, allowing companies to increase productivity, simplify processes, and establish closer connections with their clients.
Conclusion
According to Bhaskar Majumdar, Managing Partner of Unicorn India Ventures, “GenAI has many applications and, more importantly, has the potential to completely change the global tech industry.”
