SINE Partners with Ansys to Empower Indian Tech Startups

11th June 2024- The Society For Innovation & Entrepreneurship (SINE), established in 2004 at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, has forged a collaboration with Ansys Software to bolster support for technology startups. This strategic alliance aims to foster innovation and technology-based entrepreneurship within the Indian startup ecosystem.

Under the Ansys Startup Programme, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been inked between Ansys and SINE to formalize their partnership. As per the agreement, Ansys will organize events in conjunction with SINE to aid engineering hardware startups and offer evaluation/trial licenses for three months to startups associated with SINE.

Mike Yeager, Area Vice President, India and Japan, Ansys, emphasized the significance of simulation technology in empowering startups, especially those in the engineering hardware domain, to compete on a global scale. The Ansys Startup Program, renowned for its support to early-stage startups, provides access to multiphysics simulation software and high-performance computing, enabling startups to address engineering challenges efficiently and affordably.

Over the years, the Ansys Startup Programme has garnered significant traction, with more than 2,100 startups from 58 countries joining the initiative. These startups span diverse sectors such as autonomous technology, energy, aerospace, automotive, healthcare, and more, leveraging simulation technology to drive innovation and accelerate growth.

Through this collaboration, SINE and Ansys aim to equip Indian startups with the tools and resources needed to overcome technical barriers, drive product competitiveness, and propel their ventures to new heights of success.
