01 April 2024 – What would happen if you took an Uber and were hit with a bill for crores? After what seemed to be a typical vehicle journey in the wee hours of Friday, an Uber client was recently taken aback to receive a charge of 7.66 crore.
Indeed! Yes, you read correctly. Using the Uber India app, frequent Uber user Deepak Tenguriya booked an auto journey for a mere Rs 62. But when Deepak arrived at his destination, he was presented with a Rs 7.66 crore bill. Following this unanticipated event, Deepak’s buddy Ashish Mishra posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) in which the two can be seen talking about the enormous bill that Deepak got after he booked an auto trip on Uber.
In the video that was posted on X, Deepak could be heard specifying the precise amount that he was given on his Uber bill. “How much is your bill worth, show?” inquired his buddy Ashish. Deepak said, “Rs 7,66,83,762.”
Conclusion
Deepak’s phone was flashed in front of the camera, revealing that he had been charged Rs 1,67,74,647 for his “trip fare” and Rs 5,99,09189 for his waiting time. Seventy-five rupees was subtracted as a promotion expense.
