11 April 2024 — Former SpiceJet Chief Operating Officer (COO) Arun Kashyap has launched Sirius India Airlines, a new executive jet operator offering private jet charter services.
Senior executive Shilpa Bhatia, former Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of SpiceJet, is linked to the project, showcasing experienced leadership in the venture.
Sirius India Airlines begins with a Hawker Beechcraft 4000 super midsize business jet and plans to add two more aircraft of the same type this year. The long-term goal is a fleet of up to 12 aircraft of various sizes by 2025.
The startup has partnered with Dubai-based Airavat, the executive aviation arm of Transworld Group, enhancing its operational capabilities and market reach.
