20th May 2024 – ITM SLS Baroda University marked National Technology Day with a spectacular display of creative projects across various disciplines. Over 80 teams participated, presenting innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
Projects included eco-friendly briquettes, biodiesel from waste cooking oil, roads made from plastic waste, and a folding electric bike for sustainable commuting. The event also featured inventive solutions like an LPG gas leak detector and dermal lotion from orange peel extracts.
In recognition of these remarkable innovations, the university announced plans to support select projects with seed funding and incubation opportunities at its Startup Incubation Centre. Mr. Ravindra Singh Rathore, Vice-President of ITM SLS Baroda University, highlighted the transformative potential of investing in such initiatives for societal development.
The inauguration of the Incubation and Startup Centre signifies the university’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation. Esteemed guests, including industry leaders and experts, lauded the impactful projects and emphasized the importance of nurturing innovation for national progress.
