01 March 2024 – In a significant development for India’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, Servotech Power Systems Ltd., a leading EV charger manufacturer, has clinched a game-changing order for 1400 DC fast EV chargers. The order, valued at Rs. 111 crores, comes from Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and other EV charger original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Servotech, known for its commitment to quality and innovation, will manufacture, supply, and install the chargers nationwide, with a focus on deploying them at Indian Oil petrol pumps and other strategic locations.

Key Servotech Order Details:

The order, led by IOCL, involves two charger variants – 60 kW and 120 kW – catering to the evolving needs of the EV market. The strategic deployment of these chargers at IOCL petrol pumps and other identified locations underscores the commitment to fostering a robust EV charging network.

This follows Servotech’s recent successes, including a 1500 DC Fast EV charger order from HPCL and OEMs, and an 1800 DC EV charger order from BPCL. In total, the combined orders from oil marketing companies and EV charger OEMs now stand at an impressive 4700 units, with a cumulative value of Rs. 333 crores.

Servotech is steadfast in its commitment to installing all 4700 EV chargers by the end of the fiscal year 2024-25. A proactive approach is evident as Servotech aims to deploy 5% of the 4700 DC EV chargers by March 31st, 2024. Simultaneously, the company is set to complete the deployment of 2649 AC EV chargers ordered by BPCL by the same deadline.

Impact and Future Vision:

Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Power Systems Ltd., expressed pride in contributing to India’s E-Mobility revolution. The strategic partnerships with major oil marketing companies reflect confidence in Servotech’s manufacturing capabilities and commitment to quality. The vision is clear – to transform India into a nation where EVs are not just a vision but a tangible reality. By leveraging the expansive network of oil marketing companies and installing chargers at petrol pumps, Servotech is actively constructing a resilient EV infrastructure, making EVs accessible nationwide.

Sarika Bhatia emphasized that Servotech’s top-notch DC fast EV chargers are poised to create e-mobility hubs, streamlining transactions, enhancing accessibility, simplifying user experience, and aiding navigation for EV drivers. The company’s proactive role is driving a seamless shift towards a greener, more sustainable transportation landscape.
