Navi founder Sachin Bansal on his 100-hour work weeks with no WFH: "People hate me"

02 April 2024 – Sachin Bansal, who founded and sold Flipkart, is now concentrating on his fintech company, Navi. Bansal said in an interview with Moneycontrol that he is dedicating all of his time to the financial services firm, working 80–100 hours a week, including weekends.

During the pandemic, Navi, like many other organizations, had to turn to remote employment. Navi was founded in 2018. Bansal, however, claims that was just momentary. Bansal claims that the firm still needs to allow remote work.

He admits that because of his position and the amount of work he puts in each week, some of his teammates could “hate” him. Despite the fact that everyone is supposed to work from an office, Bansal said he expects his coworkers to put in less time than he does.

Conclusion

The IIT-Delhi alumni have ceased to be angel investors since he is “completely immersed” in Navi management. Rather, he dedicates all of his time to his new business. People detest me sometimes because of it. I work 80–100 hours a week, but there are two rules: one, you can’t work from home, and second, you have to come in on the weekends,” Bansal stated.
